green04735 wrote: Ceaned her this morning again and while I was running the warm water over her butt I could see she was pushing and I could tell it was an egg,so I finished cleaning her up and put her in her cage with the heat lamp and she sqatted and layed a huge egg,now I`m not sure if it is prolasped U,when I bring her in again to clean her I will take a picture and maybe someone can tell me for sure.She still is eating and drinking.I just looked at her again and there seems to be clean liquid dripping out of her.She is in a dark cage with a little light and I make it really dark at 7pm and don`t take it off untill 6;30am.I hope she stops laying eggs untill she heals up.I weighted a exta large egg on my scales and the weight was 2.4 and the one she layed the scales did not go up that far, and the shell was gritty feeling like sand paper.When she was laying the egg it kinda looked like a big scab on her outside,but not sure.Just come home from a chicken swap and I did not bring home anything(yea) and sold one EE.I did trade a Rhode Island Red pullit for a buff orpington pullit,thats because when I was bought the BO`S as chicks she was in there and as she grew she turned red and the lady said bring her to the swap and you can trade her for the BO. |
