I got to come up with some cheap hedges to make my renter happy. Any ideas/suggestions? Full sun, poor soil, mostly decomposed granite and burned native grasses in that area. Given another hose, she'll be able to get water half way down that burn area. Some nice bushes and trees will help it look better.
This is a view from my side of her house. Didn't kill that pepper tree and the elderberry is coming back. Fire didn't burn the house or the chicken pen. So glad it didn't catch our pines on fire!
