Well i've not posted in a while about Brian's foot....but it is now causing a bunch of problems on the knee. He's right there with Bill & Victor i'm afraid. He started P.T. 2X a week for 8 weeks an they got no where. The doctor then prescribed Hydrocodine 7.5 mg. he's to take 2 (15mg) before P.T. and one Flexall after P.T. He's been doing this for 8 weeks now. He hates it as he's higher than a kite for the day and then the next day he groggy and sore as heck. Tomorrow we got to Bangor to see the specialist and see what they are going to do to his knee. It's already been hinted at that it may require surgery.
Well all this medication over the last 7 years Brians teeth and gut have taken a beating. Friday night I ended up taking him to the Emergency Room for his tooth. It was so bad 3 different Dr.'s came in and looked at it, then he got a spew about how your bottom teeth can kill you when they become that infected. Brian got a big wake up call!! He's on antibiotics 500 mg every 6 hours for 10 days and more pain meds but he stopped taking the pain meds today. He said it's not so bad now that the antibiotics are starting to work. He gets it pulled next Monday.....he really can't get a break :(
