Can't you just imagine some morning glories contributing to the festooning of Monet's drum bridge over his waterlily pond? (The second image is from the Japanese Edo period, of which Monet had quite a few woodblocks in his Giverny home - fascinating to see how ideas transmogrify from one place/time to another.)
