Thanks, Victor, I do too. It has stunning buds and then goes through a bunch of changes until it is a soft yellow. I planted it 2007 from Dan's Great Lake Coop. It is a Rugosa Hybrid that may get 6 feet tall. It doesn't like to be pruned. My kind of rose!

Quoting:Hybrid Rugosa.
aka: KORruge
Registration: KORruge
AEN: Rugelda ®
Origin: Bred in Germany (1989) by W. Kordes & Sons.
Bloom: Yellow blend [yb], red edge blooms. Flowers citron yellow edged reddish upper. Moderate fragrance. Small, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit: Tall, bushy growth habit. Dark green foliage.
Height of up to 6' 7" (up to 200 cm). Width of up to 4' . (up to 120 cm).
Growing: Used for garden or landscape. Zone 5 and higher. Resist the urge to prune this rose too heavily -- it doesn't like it!.

Wha, daffs?? Delphs? Too funny, I think you are working too hard. Nice results for sure. I keep trying with roses, but rugosa roses are always good for me. I can live with black spot.

Ge1836, love the glass tile work, nothing bland about you, baby! Grab bars are just horizontal stripper poles for those beyond retirement age!
