plantmum6 ~ Well I live in Northern CA as well...but not in a coastal area but in the Sierra foothills...it snows here every winter and is hotter than your temps, all summer, but not quite as bad as the Sac valley.

What do I do when it snows...heh, heh. well the folks here can tell you...I rant and they are tired of looking at my snow pictures as it even snowed in May this year as well as on another day it hailed. Usually the last snow is March, and then I can get out and plant eveything, though there are still cold days and an occasional rain. But once April is here we usually have warm temps and then it gradually, but not always so gradual...warms up here and is hot and dry all summer. That's when we like to go to the coast for a day or two to cool off. About November or so we will get some rain, though an occasional shower may come during the summer...it never is enough to actually water the plants so I will have to still water almost daily, unless we get some cloudy days.

Hey everyone ~ Let's get some pictures of your propagation....or your garden projects.

Dave ~ You are the only one with your consistent sharing of pictures. Did you ttake those pictures yourself? The daylilies are beautiful!

In the front of the picture, where you see a lilac-pink ground cover...it is called Cat Thyme but actually it is not a thyme but a germander. Teucrium marum...
