Sorry for the delay...been overwhelmed here with so much "stuff"...Dr's office for tests, preparing to leave for a family funeral in a couple of hours and trying to keep up with our Robin family, and our gardens/feeders/etc...including a new nest being built by a new Cardinal family making a home in our honeysuckle. I've been very exhausted and only wrote posts in a couple of other threads...absolutely drained.
Anyway, I'm posting 2 pics...one from yesterday and one from about noon today. Things are looking better for the tiny one of the group...it has been touch and go there for awhile. You will notice in the 1st pic that instead of being just one day behind, it looks to be close to 3 days now...growth/development-wise. It is just now starting to grow some dark feathers other than the ones on it's wings. You will see the little one is on top...again I was relieved. But again last night, it was buried under the older siblings. I worried all night, even losing sleep over the thought of it possibly sufficating. I couldn't help it...
I was relieved to see it's still hanging in there today!
I won't be back til Saturday night from Broken Bow NE (about 200 miles NW of us here in Lincoln), so I'll post the next pic sometime late Sunday afternoon or early evening. Enjoy your weekend everyone :)
