One of our Blue Cochins, named Pookie, (my kids named her) hatched out some babies. One baby is not a blue and was hatched by another hen that is still sitting on eggs and not taking care of the baby well enough so we slipped her in with Pookie. One blue baby (the smallest) was also hatched by another hen because it was so far behind the others and Pookie stopped sitting on her two remaining eggs. It hatched yesterday so we have now slipped it in with Pookie and so far she seems to not notice. She did notice the little black one but eventually accepted it as her own.
She now has a total of 5 babies, 4 Blues and one mixture.
