These shots are not from Pipe Creek but I wanted to use up this thread and had to many pictures to post for the Daily.
This place is called Coho Dam. The dam was removed about 10 years ago and its back to its natural state of just being a river again. I have come to this place for a long time as a fisherman but the last couple of years for birding. I can tell you today this place is holding some Warbler's as I heard quite a few different song's but it is very over grown and you must have repellent as the insects can be quite a pain... deer fly's, mosquito's etc. Myself I wade threw the river which is not very deep and its crystal clear and can keep you cool on a hot day.
I was able to get one new bird and my first shots of the Pileated Woodpecker along with some Bald Eagle shots. I had the ISO up a lil too high and some of the shots are not that great.

First up is my new bird...Great Crested Flycatcher...I still have the loud calls in my head from these bird's lol.
