Marilyn - sounds like you got a good deal, even with the extra tip! Victor - it shouldn't be too complicated to get what you want with the bypass. The best thing I ever did when we put in our new well here was to ask them how much it would cost to trench up to my garden area and put in a faucet up there for my garden sink. It only cost $100 more than the well, and that was THE BEST money I've ever spent! I love my garden sink & use it so much. It was the original cast iron farm sink and cabinet that was put in our kitchen when the house was upgraded around the end of the 19th century. We did some modest upgrades to add cabinets etc. in 1990. Hank dug me a dry well of stones under the drain pipe area, and now i can wash veggies and do all the other stuff you need water for. We cover it up with a big mower cover when we take off for the winter. |
