I have a little trouble with rotting as it is - most of mine are exposed to direct sunlight too - don't bury them deep enough to cover completely or they would rot for sure. Look- my rescued Josephs Coat is gonna bloom - Yippee - see, I don't kill everything!! Don't look at my black spots - I am treating those with fungicide as we speak. Rained about 3 inches here last night so am fighting a losing battle right now.
