When our house was built the developer planted Euonymus in our front yard. Unfortunately, that was the only identification given to them. They are shrub form and about 4 foot tall. The leaves are glossy around 3 inches long.

From looking at pictures on the Internet, my guess is that it is a Purple wintercreeper, variety fortunei 'Greenlane

Right now I'm trying to find out about pruning them. The branches has grown quite long and they look healthy. But they are a little large. It is now May and we live in Northern California.
