there are two different plants one is umbrella palm and one is dwarf papyrus. I will post pictures. One is a mini version of the papyrus that the Egyptians made paper form and its a very dense plant spiky and spreads and gets very thick. we have this type ib our pond every, year. It doesn't not make it through the winter. we buy a new one every year they are not expensive about 12.00.
The other is the umbrella palm i will post photo that on has less leaves and has a more space between the leaves .
Your art work is very lovely and you are very talented. 12,.00 plant does not seem like a fare trade to me.


the first photo is papyrus' if you look closely there is a frog in the middle
