SW - Maybe DH will dig up some more Society garlic, then I can plant it around my strawbales. No one from the Strawbale Forum thought gophers were a problem with strawbales, but since have seen on a website and from an employee at Armstrong Gardens that I should have put wire beneath them. Will say a prayer, keep fingers crossed and add the garlic. Bunnies have already jumped onto the bales and eaten broccoli and brussels sprouts leaves. I have added bird netting over top and sides and ground beside the bales in hopes they will not want to get tangled in it. I, however, get tangled in it too, as does my oxygen cart, LOL.

Cayte - Not only did you also come from Jamul, but from Cruces too? DH is from there and would like to move back. Did you live there before or after college? My DH is NOT color impaired, but accepts my need not to have bland colors. Here is a sample of the colors looking through the house when we were just moving in. The horses are stamped on pale periwinkle walls of DD's room that include clouds and sun on ceiling and blades of green grass on baseboards. The feature red wall in dining/living room has aged to a darker red. The Tuscan gold room is my garden/quilty room and has purple grape clusters stamped around arches inside the room and lastly is the 2 toned beach master bedroom. Unseen is the guest/DD bath painted lilac with big squares and circles of primary colors.
