Taking the back roads through the Hill Country to Fredericksburg, then over to Austin and the interstate up to McKinney. Maybe a German food lunch in F-burg. We are in no hurry as I'd just as soon it be early evening when I traverse I35E through downtown Dallas. Did that rush hour thing on the way down and it's no longer my cup of tea.

I'm going to hit the spot on the river where I've seen the little Green Kingfisher one more time. Maybe I can get a decent pic. Cute little bird-- makes a clicking sound when he flies.
