My "underlying" goal, besides educating and helping people with their gardening projects, is to drive sales by suggesting "add on" sales the customer might not have thought of.....

Like: If they are buying some Roses--I would (gently) convince them that they need some Systemic Rose Care fertilizer and maybe also a set of bypass pruning sheers----BINGO! That's an additional $25 or so of sales!

I have to chuckle at myself how blatantly self-promoting i can be......:o)
