DG Site Updates: DG Being Sold – Again (April Fools), 1 by MiguelIB

On their very successful experience of taking a somewhat isolated brand and expanding it to a broader set of entertainment media (think Pirates of the Caribbean moving into theaters) , The Walt Disney Company, owner of A Bug’s Life, has decided to broaden their audience in the hopes of revising that brand. As they looked around the Internet for a potential platform they felt that DG, with its huge bug files and plant files, was the perfect place.

Though I can’t disclose the amount they’re paying, suffice it to say, we couldn’t pass it up.

Disney is a great place. They own The Magic Kingdom and the Happiest Place on Earth. I really don’t know what exactly they have in store for DG, but I am absolutely sure you will be placed in good hands (they may only have 4 fingers, but they’ll be good).

It’s been a true pleasure getting to know you over the last couple of months and I wish you all the best.
