There are still a couple hanging around and I just love their singing. duc: Wow, that Brewer's Blackbird is really pretty, especially the female! Love to see the pictures of birds singing their hearts out! Great photo's of the White Pelican! And, I really like the looks of the Barn Swallows, don't see those around these parts. gardenpom: That's a really great shot of the male Painted Bunting, really has beautiful colors, doesn't he? Lily: Love your picture of the tree full of Cedar Waxwings! I thought they had all left our area but I saw four land in a tree this afternoon, then took off as fast as they arrived! Lovely Red-bellied you have there too! It's sure fun to watch them. I went to Wal-Mart this afternoon and forgot to take my camera. I was hoping to take some more pic's of the Osprey family in residence atop the light poles in the parking lot. Oh well, maybe next trip I will remember. Only pic's I have to share are ones I took this afternoon of our local's. This is our resident Northern Mockingbird with a broken beak. He/she has been hanging around for a few months now. I was concerned with the broken beak that he/she wouldn't survive but yep, still here ... singing prettily every day. |
