Everyone makes the WOW's sound pretty good. Now I was thinking as I read, that the squash would have a good headstart before the squash bugs found it. I guess not. I love winter squash. I gave up on the summer squash when even I wasn't thrilled with it. I tried the patty pan last year AND canned it.

I had DH put up a cuke fence and I'm going to try running the winter squash up it.
