I bought 2 Tomato Success Kits for Gardeners supply in 2006 when I was going to have surgery and gardening was going to be out of the question that year. I have been growing in these kits every year since and get lots of tomatoes to eat fresh and some to freeze for sauce. If the weather get cool I wrap the sides with bubble wrap and at night toss a light weight blanket over the cages if necessary. It is not safe for my to put out tender plants without protection till the just before Memorial Day, and we have had some pretty cold Memorial Days up here. Wall O' Waters, I have also planted cuke and squash seeds early using them. |
