DonnieBrook wrote: Thanks, Patti. We had a wonderful trip to Bok Tower yesterday. It is such a beautiful, peaceful place and this is the the latest in the winter we've been. In February the camellias are in full bloom everywhere you look, and in late March the azaleas and tons of bright annuals are very colorful. I couldn't get Celeste off my mind and tried hard to send her some comforting vibes as I was sitting on a bench in front of the reflecting pond. The Puppy Girls were extremely good for another long day of travel. They were also excellent when my bosses and their wives spent the day with us. We are both enjoying them so much! It seems they hit 6 months and just "caught on" to the drill. They're still full of energy and need lots of exercise and play time, but they are really fun. Marilyn - I hear ya! How dare I indeed! LOL Here is a shot of the amazing carillon tower made of pink marble and coquina shells. There is nothing like sitting among the flowers and listening to the bells. |
