They even had a piece on the Dallas news. Hard to imagine folks complaining about having too many waxwings. I told her not to worry that they will soon devour their food source and move on.

We have rented a cabin on the Frio River in Uvalde County for week after next. Lots of birds there this time of year. We hope to get some Golden-cheeked Warblers and BC Vireos. I've seen the vireos, but wasn't keeping a list at the time.

Took a walk around Lake Thunderbird yesterday and found my roadrunner again. He's getting predictable. I'll upload several photos on Picasa and post a link.

For now here is a gobbler from yesterday. It's getting that time of year. I made some soft hen yelps and he let loose a mighty gobble.
