I'm not sure this is the right place to post this. Please let me know if it isn't. Hopefully someone can help with this issue. The entrance to my house is like an alcove (not sure how else to describe it). It has two skylights and last year it was like a death trap for hummingbirds. They flew in but saw the skylights as the only exit. They would exhaust themselves and keep banging against the windows trying to get out. I rescued five and am pretty sure none died in there but it was heart wrenching to watch. It was also hard to reach them! We bought the house last July, the sellers had a planter with flowers in that area. Needless to say, the planter is gone. Does anyone have any ideas how I can let the light of the skylights in but somehow prevent the hummers from seeing them as an exit? I think not having the flowers there will help but I don't want to take any chances. Thanks.
