We have been getting tons of rain here. We have a flood in back by the woods. There's a couple of depressions back there, one of which fills up with water seasonally, whenever there's significant rainfall, but now it's full to the brim almost, and the other one even has water in it, and we've never seen water there. The sump pump in the cellar is working overtime to pump out the water, and we have water on the floor even, perhaps about half an inch or less. I hate having a cellar we can't really use.

I have always wanted to make that depression into a real pond with liner and fish. It would make a fantastic pond, but would cost more than I can afford. That will be for when I hit the big lottery. Till then I can dream. I would like a nice workshop out there that would look like an old mill with a water wheel. That would be so cool!
