As long as you're not easily offended by hijackers, Randy... I had an uncle who had way too much iron in his system. We learned this from my aunt, who told us that he left rust stains in his underwear. It's been 50 years, they both passed on but I still think that there is funny, right there. Sorry, Isaac. I couldn't resist. No offense intended.

Back to this thread's business now.

After my 5th Guys' cruise, which ended on Feb.14th, my cruising buddy stayed with us for 10 days and overhauled the 3-foot wide bed my homeowners' association allows me to cultivate around my house. He ripped out stuff, dug out roots, moved plants, planted new specimens and thew out 1/2 ton of weeds and ripped-up grass. Here is what a small part of my garden looks like now.

The goose does not have a name. It was sitting in the carport when we bought the house. It is hurricane-proof, being low to the ground and cast out of concrete. We are told the previous owner dressed the goose in a different outfit and hat to match the seasons and holidays. That would explain the little red white and blue hat we found in the laundry room. We decided to keep her. She watches over the garden, sort of.

Sylvain.
