OK here goes again.

Venice, that plant topped out at 28 inches high, the top 14 inches of it being the open bloom.

Fruitofthevine, the voodoo lily blossom is dying back already. It only blooms in the winter, that's why it's in the house here. It would never make it outside.
In the spring it will shoot up a stalk with leaves on it. Reminds me of an umbrella when it is all the way up and open. The stalk and leaves are on it until fall and then it dies back and goes dormant for the winter.
I have a number of baby bulbs, and a few bigger ones, but this is the oldest one and it was the first time we ever got a blossom from it. I read they have to be 6 years old or older to blossom. And they do not blossom every year, thank god!

This is a top shot that we got of the leaves one year when I was trying to have it ID'ed.
