scraps wrote: Hey everyone, Thanks for the compliments girls. Kay, I wish! I have a big ole foot too. My DD#2 has a very wide 10 also, even wider than mine. She has an awful time with shoes and her poor feet hurt all the time from uncomfortable feet. Of course, teens are so peculiar that she would probably not wear anything I made. They think we are all old fashioned. They do like some of my crochet scarves though. I made a yellow pair of baby shoes today and I found a dress in my sewing stuff that I had started along time ago, probably 4 years . So I finished it and hope that my pregnant daughter can wear it. I am not sure who I was making it for (probably me but it will not fit now) and I do not have the pattern anymore but I wish I did because I like the way it was made. It is hard to find a pattern that flatters flab.LOL. Other than a moomoo. I had to stop because my back is hurting so bad. I need sunshine. It has been dreary here for days. Carrie, I would have loved to tried for a boy after my last DD was born but I had toxemia both times and the doctor said I was close to having a stroke my blood pressure got so high. So I was scared to risk my life again. I crave a baby to hold and play with so I just cannot wait for this one to get here. The good thing is I can come home at night. Then sit and spoil her for them all day. Well, I am tired and better call it a night. Sleep well everyone. scraps |
