Sounds like it may be very liberating for Doug when he gets used to it, Marilynn. My friend in NH has one and it has allowed her a lot more flexibility and confidence when we go out to dinner. At 100 she is still filled with "get up and go" willingness at the drop of a hat, but her mobility is a challenge, so this has helped her a lot. I hope it helps Doug as much!

Yesterday we took a day trip with the girls and our friends, and it was a great test of their ability to do the car for 11 and a half hours. They really did great, and we took them for a number of walks that helped a lot. We drove all the way around Lake Okeechobee and stopped at several points to walk along the shore. We counted 28 species of birds we saw. We're all tired today, but it was a very nice day with perfect weather. Of course, they were ready to roll and rumble when we finally got home at 8:30 last night. Here's a shot of Lake O.

I will try to get some more recent shots of the puppies - if they'll ever stand still long enough. LOL
