From Last thread, duc, that shot of the Red-tailed Hawk (post # 7564668) is fantastic. I had to resist the urge to run out the door and go and buy a 7D.

jhowdy, what a beautiful bird the American Kestrel is. Gorgeous hovering photos. Welcome, also to a very friendly forum.

I just had to go to the ospreys nest this afternoon and as I was approaching the area, a New Holland Honeyeater landed above my head. I only had my small lens and didn't have the camera set up so the colour looks a bit iffy, but at least I'm finally able to contribute.
