fancyvan wrote: Betty yes but I dont make them constantly. Just had about a 2 months 'session' before Xmas as we had a fundraiser early Jan. I have a system that works pretty well, sort of a production line , Cut everything, layer everything, pin layers so ready to sew, set up sewing machine in kitchen( nice and light instead of basement) and sew 2-3 a day, goes pretty quickly. Now I wont be making any for some months, we sold about 20 beds and have enought let over for next fundraiser. Then I will make more! Just Fabricland here for my purposes. Some others not suitable. Fanny's closed years ago so pretty much a monopoly. A bit of melting going on here yesterday and probably the next few days so snow on the streets continues to disappear slowly. Visited with a friend/foster home yesterday to get pics of one of her dogs and our really really shy , scared of humans foster dog. Inch by inch he is making progress but it is very slow. Next week we take him to a vet behavioural specialist and hope to get him on some anti-anxiety meds to reduce his fear of humans and makeit easier for him to settle in. We expect it will be a long time before we consider him adoptable and will need a special home. He is a cutie and loves to lay with the other dogs in the yard.. |
