Carol, sounds like a lot of work..do you have more fabric shops than Fabricland in your area? Had a lovely one in Midland, gentleman passed away and his wife sold the building..another quilt shop opened, but lordy you have to mortgage the house to buy fabric there..most is in the $20.00 per meter range...prints are fantastic but not for me.. Last night on t.v. bingo, didn't win, they were giving out a sewing machine..said on the main street in Midland a new shop had opened, you can bet I'll be there Friday afternoon... It's lightly snowing right now, maybe we've missed the worse of the storm, hope so..I'm the only one in so far, if I didn't know it was a holiday on Monday I'd be asking myself if it was a holiday today..sure they will be here shortly... Little nauseated, sure hope I'm not coming down with what Aunt Muriel, Greg and LeeAnn have.. Sooo, being a long weekend, what are your plans? or does your province celebrate Family Day on Monday.. Trying to get with family this time of year just doesn't work..it's hockey/skiing/snowmobile trips...should have made it in the summer but it will give us a winter break won't it? When I was in Buffalo on the weekend I purchased flannel to make rag quilt for the boys (slap me silly-for Christmas) golf design, think I just might work on it this weekend, especially if we have snow each and every day...I'll just relax and enjoy.. Ohhh did play on the Wii this morning for 1/2 hr. - starting a daily exercise program..played bowling..even though it's not real bowling, muscles from playing it with Kyle are aching..now how can that be? Stay safe - if weather is bad, find something you've been putting off and enjoy |
