Gitagal wrote: Stormy--Is that a serious question--or a tongue-on-cheek question???? NO! And I would not try to...... Seen my own kids in that attire too many times....all bundled up and they can barely move....;o)...then they have to go to the bathroom.... Weather wise---More bad news!!!!!! They are now predicting 12"-20" of more snow between Tuesday afternoon and later Wednesday. GEEZ! Have we not had enough punishment already??? Getting clobbered again! Just dug out (over 2 hrs.) from the last avalanche--now it will be the same thing all over again! Going in to work tomorrow. Called out Sunday! Don't want to lose all that pay! I work 10-7PM Tuesday and Wednesday. We will see if I can get in! Today--all major roads are clear. Getting home tomorrow may be a different story. Will make sure I bring a snow shovel with me. I have a Subaru Outback--so I feel a bit more safe with a 4-wheel drive vehicle than most folks--but I still have to get into my driveway! After next Monday--I will not be able to shovel at all......or do much of anything else weight/stress-related. Medical restrictions after my 3rd. "down under" surgery to try and fix my "leaking plumbing". Can't lift more than 10lbs. for 6 weeks......AAAGGHHHH! That's getting close to Gardening season! Hard--when you live alone! NO sympathy or prayers needed! Been there--done that too many times! Seems I have --almost--one surgery a year on something or another. Made a list recently to give to all the Dr.'s--it filled a whole page! Like an older car--something does not work--you take it into the "garage" to be fixed.....Good as new for another year! Glad I am not going to a Plant Swap--as I would have to decline. A box of seeds does nor weigh anywhere near 10lbs. Working hard to get them all organized and pictures attached to all my envelopes. Have several new ones this year. I have updated my Trade List. Be well--Be safe--and don't overdo it! If you have help to dig out--GREAT! If NOT--pace yourself! Take a lot of mini-breaks--or be prepared to shell out some $$$$ if you cannot handle it at all. So far so good with me! I have been able to do it all myself--slowly--but surely! Here is the "fruit" of my efforts last Sunday morning---all 2+ hrs. this took to finish. Guess I will be doing the same on Thursday or Friday! Gotta have a positive attitude! Remember?
