Aaah, what can I say about patella ... that went to the top of my wish list after a gorgeous photo you posted sometime last year. I ordered it this past summer and hope it puts on a lot of growth when the weather begins to warm up. I look forward to seeing a couple of those nice blooms in person. Doug, great idea in having Carol grow it out for you!

H. pottsii has been on my wish list for a long time. I don't know why I've never ordered that one because the foliage is amazing! I like pretty foliage almost as much as some of the flowers.

I don't have anything blooming right now but as I mentioned, pretty foliage is nice too. I got this H. merillii in a trade with Ric (ricfl) about 1 1/2 years ago. It sat and didn't do much because I had it in deep shade. It really put on growth this past summer when I moved it to more sunlight. I adore the foliage on this one! I received another cutting of merillii from SunshineSW a couple of months ago and will be adding it to this pot when the weather warms up. Even if I never see a flower on this plant, I love the colorful foliage.
