I have been bonding with my Stihl, cutting more firewood. We live in deep woods and when hardwood trees should fall from windstorms or hurricanes, I hate to see them waste so turn them into firewood. I was cutting one up today and I have to share what I found.

I was stacking the firewood and reached for a piece when I saw something purple. My favorite color of course so I took a closer look.
