amorecuore wrote: It stayed a little warmer here last night, than predicted, because it stayed breezy most of the night. Clouds and wind can help prevent all of the daytime heating from escaping into the atmosphere. The low was only 37 last night. It's supposed to be 34 or so tonight, so I'm just going to leave all the plants in the heated garage until tomorrow morning. I needed to clean up the area around the pool anyway, so now is the perfect time to do it since all of the plants have been removed. You're gonna have to find a way to keep that greenhouse above 32 degrees Judy. Starting tonight, it looks like you've going to stay below freezing non-stop until Sunday. Tropicals can survive hours slightly below freezing, but not days. If the greenhouse can't stay above 32 you may have to pick and choose which plants to bring inside. LOL I have some strange looking plants in the house right now. There's a 6' tall red passion flower vine in bloom next to the TV and "Wolfgang" (LOL....my Pitcher Plant) is hanging from the book shelve. Here's a picture of "all clear and cold" out back this morning. Jon |
