I think this is a Cooper's Hawk. I was out taking photos of hundreds (honest!) of Robins and Cedar Waxwings eating berries and this hawk flew past me and landed in a nearby tree. The other birds disappeared in the blink of an eye and didn't return for at least 15 minutes after he'd gone.
