It doesn't have plastic on the inside of the bag, but should work okay. I made it out of some fabric that a friend gave me. I have no idea if it is 100% cotton, so I have never used it for quilting, so this seemed like the perfect project for it. I do wish I had made it slightly deeper, but everything fits on it and it looks tons better than the old dish towel that was under there before and is certainly more functional. I did put some fusible fleece that I had in there to pad it a little and used the shipping straps for the stiffness on the bag. One piece would have been too flimsy, but with the 2 pieces taped together, I think it will work out fine. Hope you guys like it.
