Ladygardener1, there was a site online that sells them. I will have to look for you. I haven't ordered any from them though. The ones in the picture are more common to find. I have seen them at garden shows here. I got mine from that pot pictured. A friend has had that same pot for years and years. She could not remember where she got them or what they were called. I finally tracked them down for I loved her pot every ear. I would call it her Happiness Pot or Cheerful Pot. No one could look at it in full bloom and not smile!

I now have many varieties but most are not as great. But I crossed that dangerous threshold into collecting and we all know collectors do not care if ones they collect are ugly as long as they are different. LOL The story of my life!

I have never grown them from seed, but seed is what is available on eBay. I so wish they had bulbs.

Anyway, I get most of mine from the UC Berkeley Arboretum here. But most from there are ugly! LOL Or maybe nondescript. The one above makes the biggest statement.
