i have a semi-dwarf Meyers lemon that I fertilize once a year if I remember. It seems to do well. It could be that we have good loamy soil. But in any case, I cannot imagine anything that needs to be fertilized 6 times a year. Are those recommendations for container grown plants?? Here is a photo that I took today - lots of ready to pick ones, and with the second flush of blooms it had later on in the year, there are green ones that will ripen a few months later. In addition to the two flushes, I get a few here and there all year round.
