Had some frost this mornin'.....but it's warmin' up quickly.

I've seen Mockingbirds sit on my chile petin plants and feast away.....they must not have pain-sensing nerve endings in their mouth or esophagus....or elsewhere in the body....'cause they don't seem to blink an eye when eating. I find a new plant each year, it seems,....usually close to a fence....where they sit and deposit their digested caliente leftover seeds.

I bought a couple of small Heart Leaf Hib. this fall at the Walker County MG Sale....and was pleased to have some seed pods ripen later.
