The goldfinches have found the thistle feeder... yesterday, there was one, and he kept looking around for competition, you could just see him thinking "I found it first! It's mine! All mine!" This morning, there were half a dozen of them.

The PB log isn't getting much attention yet, but so far I think the squirrels haven't gotten to it, either. They're being kept happy with the handfuls of mixed peanuts and sunflower seeds I've been tossing out the back door... they come right to the door for it, regardless of Eliot, and you know he thinks they are awesome!
