On my way home from a trip to Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge one late afternoon, this Bald Eagle had just taken down a Tundra Swan. I stopped my car, turned down the window and took quite a few photos, some of which I won't show. The large flock of Tundras was on the other side of the road. I have also photographed them with a fresh killed Canada Goose and several times at the remains of a dead deer. |
