Still has a lot of growing to do but I am really proud as it is my first attempt at Bonsai, I used 11 cuttings- 7 on the left- 1 in the center - 3 on the right with the largest in the center. Since starting this thread all my cuttings have bloomed and are producing new leaves so they must have ( if not rooted ) at least accepted the transplanting. My COT is a dwarf with the Red flowers although not the intense Red that I have seen on some of the full size ones but a nice color. The leaves on the plants are a deep green and quite glossy, I don't know if that is because of it being a dwarf or just the plant itself. My daughter has one whose leaves are a little smaller but no where near as deep a green. Several of my cuttings ( not in the bonsai ) have started to send out shoots from the bottom so hopefully the will start to become something more that just a single stem plant.
