Ok, part of me wanted to see how long you guys would keep a thread going, but over 200 posts is long enough. Plus, I want to show off my fabulous Florida butterflies!

My first Viceroy emerged! The second is still a cat. He seems confused. I think maybe he wants to overwinter (they are one that does so in the caterpillar stage) but he's a little big for that.

Notice the Viceroys in FL tend to take on the darker orange like the Queens. Double mimicry!
