Speaking of that contest -- OK Duc just between you and me, what did you have to do to get those cute little fawns to play the parts like in Walt Disney's Bambi to get 3rd? in Wildlife? That elk I photographed, I had to promise a lifetime membership to Lodge 2524, you know its the Forks, WA Elks Lodge just to lay still and not get up and gorge us only 25 feet away. And he did, just chewed a little and we got some pics and moved away ecstatic and observed from a safer distance. In the park there were warning signs posted of elk attacks guarding territory and herd. It was very cool. Pic: Attentive listener, I was story telling, again. I liked the purplish patch on his head-- I don't think its a camera glitch. PS the sweet tooth was a Black Capped Chickadee and Resin said they do that- made a believer outta me after the second and fourth time. So help me if they start looping like crazy and hover I am going to start wearing a helmet. This message was edited Nov 18, 2009 7:23 PM |
