Looking in a new magazine, "Garden Gate" Flowers, they have the following picture with this: Taken from the magazine: "Garden Gate" Flowers. A supplement to August Home Publications. Angel's trumpet Datura inoxia Height: 2 feet Width: 3 to 4 feet Light: Full sun. Soil: Moist, well -drained. Blooms: Summer to Fall. Cold hardy: Zones 7 to 11 Heat Tolerant: AHS zones 11 to 1 Fragrance: Heavy and Sweet.v These exotic white, yellow, pink, red or orange blooms-- sometimes up to 6 in. across--- really make angel's trumpet stand out from the rest. In the evening, from early Summer to Fall, angel's trumpet unrolls its cigarlike buds, exuding an intense perfume. Enjoy them while you can. The plant is nocturnal so the show's over by noon at the latest. Angel's trumpet does best without any sudden shocks, so try to keep it evenl;y moist. Deadheading won't make the plant bloom any better, but it will keep it from self-seeding and become invasive. And use caution while handling the plant, as all parts of angel's trumpet are toxic. try THESE!
