Dellrose that Meadowlark is gorgeous!

Depending on the season it isn't very unusual for me to see a robin getting a drink in my yard. I've always seen them alone for some reason. Today I had a small flock hanging around, 8 to 10 of them. This one was much lighter in color than the rest & my Sibley's guide book shows a picture of a pale form, never seen one before. I'm thinking this is one but maybe it is just a youngin'??

A note about Rudy Roadrunner for those of you who remember him - I only caught glimpses of him a very few times all summer - I can't even be sure it was him. Then a few days ago he came running right up to me. Roadrunners must have good memories. He's visiting everyday again.
