Yes I am doing better and thats the goal.I had to make a mad dah today to get everyone tucked in for our flurries tonight. winds kicking in the cold. covewred everyone with leaves and buttoned down the Greenhouse. we are trying a new system in the garage with a propane heater and my plants in with it.You never realize how many tropicals you end up with untill its time to move them inside.
I might even get a set of seeds on the peach butterfly ginger. crossing my fingers.
Linda I hope your mom is doing well. and I am praying for a good transition from birds to plants for your out building... I guess its a greenhouse now.
A good discussion will be what is the cheapest heat source for a garage heater to keep the plants alive and in the 40's outside the closed off shelves with heat mats? The little propane heater we have uses the little bottles and they run 4.86 a pair. I am doing a time test to see how long they last on low. but if its 4.86 a day thats going to cause my wifes head to spinn and explode through her nose.... It kinda sucks having an accountant for a wife... she watches every penny. I have looked at the Hoy Dawg heaters and they are about 500 dollars plus plumber to run the gas. any suggestions would help.
