I am very excited about Thanksgiving this year because my son is flying down for the week. My niece and her Dad (my ex-BIL) will join us for Thanksgiving dinner. Football and casual relaxation are always part of our Thanksgiving, and I set the table every year with the beautiful Takahashi china my son gave me throughout much of his life, beginning with a plate he bought me with his own money when he was ten. For years he gave me single pieces on special occasions. Last year was the first year he and I were not together to share the special dinner using it.
