leebauch wrote: Thanks to all of you, I really appreciate the offers of seed. I like anything that grows, but my most favorites are anything that is different. I lost all of the datura (moon flower here) hibiscus, nicotiana (giant). The little baby petunia waves were so pretty in June for the yard tour, but by July, they were toast with everything else. All of the starts I got from the nursery ( second time around) lost. I don't know where to start, so anything is great. I have nothing to trade so wouldn't be able to do the swap thing. Lynn and Jeanette, did I tell you I lived in Maple Valley Wa for 30+ years? Boy what a difference in gardening. Here it is mostly gumbo. Usually I do hanging baskets and then at the end of the year I add to my flower beds. Helps a little. Halloween is my favorite holiday and if I can figure it out, I will post a picture of the stagecoach the DH built decorated. Thanks again, Lee |
